“Expect my new LP to be released this Spring/Summer. Definitely look out for it, got some great music on there that is personal and finally allowing my fans and listeners to understand and know who Malik Ferraud really is as a person.”
“Life, my daughter, emotions, everything and everyone around me. It really changes day to day, on some days my inspiration may come from a song I’ve heard or an idea I’ve been thinking about. On other days my inspiration may come from conversation, day to day living, or being in a certain mood.”

[Via TheSourceMagazine] “New music from artists under most of your radar. We wanted to share some dope singles and videos from some artists that you may start to love and follow in 2014. Don’t be called out for jumping on the bandwagon next year when some of these guys take off”.
[Via ComplexMagazine] “Malik Ferraud is an upstart rapper from Baltimore. His latest single, “Come My Way,” finds him talking about love, but in a refreshing way. Ferraud dedicates his two verses to a special someone, but rather than focusing on her physical characteristics or material objects, he talks about things he finds more important, like passion and thoughts. The song somewhat lofty in its idealism, but the beat enhances the vibe. Produced by DJ Black Diamond, it samples the vocals from KP & Envyi‘s “Shorty Swing My Way” and transforms the club hit into a jazzy, laid back song”.
